Science without the boarders for researchers
Visiting researcher grants are available which foresee the possibility for internationally recognized science leaders to perform joint projects with research groups in Brazil and to work in Brazil for up to three months every year during two to three years.
The grant will include the support for living expenses during the period the researcher spends in Brazil and also funding for the local laboratory.
The 2012 call deadlines are harmonised with the post-doctoral grants (15 February, 4 June, and 1 October). The application form, funding and evaluation modalities for these "Special Visiting Researcher" (Pesquisador Visitante Especial) grants are available (in Portuguese) at:
